Comprehensive Dry Eye Examination
At Wu & Partners Optometry Clinic, we first understand the patient's symptoms and lifestyle habits, and then diagnose dry eye syndrome based on clinical examinations.
The causes of dry eye syndrome are complex, and we are equipped with the necessary advanced equipment, OCULUS Keratograph®5M, to aid us in accurately diagnosing dry eye syndrome and recording the results.

Based on the clinical diagnosis, we will recommend suitable treatment options, which may include:

Patient education
Explain to the patients the causes, symptoms, and possible relief methods of dry eye syndrome to help them understand the condition and establish realistic treatment expectations.

Environmental Adjustments
Advising patients to avoid irritating environments, take appropriate breaks, and practise proper use of digital devices.

Dietary advice
Guide patients to consume sufficient amounts of vitamins A, D, E, and Omega-3 fatty acids, as these nutrients contribute to maintaining eye health.

Artificial Tears
Recommending appropriate artificial tears to replenish tear film oil layers and restore moisture.

Scleral lenses
Scleral lenses are a special type of contact lenses that cover the surface of the eye, creating a liquid reservoir layer that helps protect the eye surface from external irritants.

iTEAR
iTEAR uses non-invasive technology to stimulate the external nasal nerve to promotes the natural production of tears. Clinically proven to effectively relieve dry eye symptoms.

Warm compress
Advising the use of home-based or professional eyelid warm compress therapy.

Eyelid hygiene
Instructing patients on proper techniques and tools for eyelid margin and eyelash hygiene, tailored to their condition.
